NESTOR Induction Meeting

The project Induction workshop was organised by the Coordinator, Infinera Portugal Team on 10 December 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Open-to All Workshop "Modern Classical and Quantum Optical Fibre Systems"

The workshop, organised by the TU/e team,took place on 22 January 2025 in a hybrid format. This event was open to attendees outside the NESTOR project. 

Tutorial on Network Disaggregation and Control Training

One day tutorial organised by  the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA) team on 18 February 2025. The event was in remote format and was open for non-NESTOR participants.

This training is exclusively designed for NESTOR researchers and will be delivered by the Infinera Germany team on 25 March 2025. The programme aims to provide a high-level overview of optical communications, focusing on the critical challenges to be addressed within the scope of the project.

The workshop will take place from 19–21 May 2025 in Birmingham, UK.
Organised by AIPT under the umbrella of the Alan Turing Institute.

The three-day Transferable Skills Workshop, organised by Aston University, will be held from 20–22 May 2025. This workshop will focus on essential transferable skills and will take place at Aston University. Topics covered will include: Academic Writing, Engagement & Communication Skill, Project Management, Open Science and Data Management.
