UKESF Girls into Electronics hosted by Aston University
UKESF Girls into Electronics events, supported by Apple,
are taking place at 14 leading UK universities this summer. Girls into
Electronics gives students – from years 10, 11 and 12 – the unique opportunity
to develop their interest in Electronics. At the heart of the programme is a
one-day event at a leading UK university. During the day, participants will
find out more about Electronics and studying the subject at university level,
as well as hearing from female graduate engineers working in the Electronics
sector. During the day, participants will experience a sample lecture from
a senior academic, input from current students, a department tour, a Q&A,
and an introduction to microcontrollers. This introduction will be a ‘hands on’
practical session using an Arduino Kit.
DCs from Aston University – Yousuf Moiz Ali and Rana Ahmad Bilal Khalid will be helping the Organising Committee to host the event on 11 July 2025.
