Short Bio: Sadegh was born in 1997 in Ahvaz, Iran. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. in Telecommunication Systems both from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Tehran, Iran, in 2020 and 2023, respectively. His current research interests include Optical Communication, Optical Networks, Network Optimization, and Machine Learning.
Research Topic: Optical communications and architecture for 5G/6G metro-edge
Project Summary: Develop end-to-end models for lightpath propagation and transmission that explicitly include TUE (my secondment host) receiver characteristics within the target network architecture. Experimentally validate the proposed models and algorithms to confirm real-world effectiveness and practical applicability. Enhance lightpath QoT by creating new algorithms and optimizing receiver DSP parameters to mitigate diverse fiber impairments.
