MALOC Worskhop at ICTON
6th Workshop on Machine Learning for Optical Communications (MALOC)
The 6th Workshop on Machine Learning for Optical Communications (MALOC) will be held in conjunction with the 26th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON 2026), taking place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 12–16 July 2026. ICTON 2026 will be kindly hosted by the Institute of Photonics and Electronics, Czech Academy of Sciences.
MALOC brings together researchers and industry experts to explore recent advances at the intersection of machine learning and optical communications, fostering collaboration across academia and industry in this rapidly evolving field.
The workshop is chaired by Prof. Luis Velasco (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and Dr. Antonio Napoli (Nokia), both leading senior members of the NESTOR project. The organisation of MALOC 2026 forms part of NESTOR’s dissemination activities, further strengthening the project’s visibility and engagement with the wider optical communications community.
