Short Bio: Haris gained extensive international experience through work and study in six countries and has a strong interdisciplinary background in photonic technologies, optical sensing, and telecommunications. He holds an MSc in Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors, and Networks from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Italy) and Aston University (UK), funded by the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, and a BSc in Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering from COMSATS University (Pakistan). His expertise includes integrated photonics, teaching, device testing, electronic circuits, 3D CAD modeling, electromagnetic simulations, software development, Python-based automation, NI LabView, and agile project management, demonstrated through his career in Australia, UAE, and Pakistan, where he developed photonic biosensors, IR moisture sensors, FTTH networks, software, tapered fiber sensors, and RF EME models. His background is enriched by freelancing, entrepreneurship, and success in international competitions such as the NI Graphical System Design Musabaka.

Research Topic: Multi-objective optimisation for next-generation coherent metro-aggregation networks

Project Summary: Investigate different models, prompt, protocols, tools, frameworks and compression techniques to develop a deployable AI agent enabling optimized solutions for custom network design scenarios with flexible visualization. Establish benchmarks & knowledge graph for AI agent to ensure domain specific performance.
